It's still hard to believe that young soulstress Amy Winehouse is no longer in the land of the living. I admit that even I snoozed on the conflicted and self-recriminating artist, and by the time I really caught on to this truly talented woman, it was too late. Perhaps to serve as a reminder for those sleep walking aimlessly with their eyes open, "Halftime" was released as a sweet serenading, but equally painful, reminder to let us know that we've truly lost an unbelievable talent too soon.
